01 / The brief
Course lists are the hardest easy thing on an education site.
Edgeglobal provides educational services across a range of programmes, and the single most important thing on the site is the catalogue, which is also the thing most education sites handle worst.
Prospective students arrive knowing roughly what they want and give up quickly if the site cannot confirm whether it is offered.
02 / Our approach
Build the catalogue first and design around it.
The course catalogue was treated as the primary structure rather than as a page, with each course a proper entry carrying the detail a student needs to choose between two similar options.
Student testimonials and learning resources were placed alongside the courses rather than in separate sections, so the reassurance appears at the point of the decision.
Week 1
Catalogue model
Course structure and templates defined before design.
Week 1—2
Design
Clean, navigable layouts built around the catalogue.
Week 2—3
Resources and proof
Learning tools, testimonials and blog wired in.
Week 4
SEO and launch
On-page SEO, responsive pass, CMS handover.
03 / The outcome
A catalogue that answers the question it is asked.
Twelve deliverables across four weeks, with the course catalogue, blog and on-page SEO live and new programmes added by the provider.
Fantastic design! It’s clean, easy to navigate, and perfect for showcasing our educational services.
