01 / The brief
Boarding is bought by an owner who feels guilty about buying it.
Loving Paws is a family-owned dog daycare and boarding facility in Florida with deliberately limited capacity, offering boarding suites, cage-free accommodation and supervised daycare.
The customer’s real question is not price or amenities. It is whether their dog will be safe and whether they will be able to stop worrying while they are away.
02 / Our approach
Lead with the temperament test and the live webcams.
The temperament test requirement opens the site, which reframes a hurdle as evidence of care: every dog on the premises has been screened, including the ones near yours.
The twenty-four hour webcams are given equal billing with boarding and daycare, because watching your own dog from a hotel room is the single feature that resolves the anxiety the purchase creates.
Phase 01
Objection map
Owner anxiety identified as the design problem.
Phase 02
Design
Soft sage palette using the facility’s own photography.
Phase 03
Prototype
Registration, document upload and booking flow laid out for build.
03 / The outcome
A boarding facility that sells reassurance.
A temperament test requirement as the lead, twenty-four hour webcams, a three-step registration and booking flow, pricing, FAQs and owner reviews.
