01 / The brief
In criminal defence, one biographical fact outweighs everything else.
Brian D. Poe is a Texas criminal defence attorney representing individuals and companies in state and federal matters, following a career as a state and federal prosecutor.
A client facing charges is choosing on one question: does this lawyer know how the other side will run the case. Everything else on the page is secondary to that.
02 / Our approach
State the record, then split state from federal.
The about section carries the prosecutorial career in full (the offices held, the courts appeared in, the cases tried) because that record is the entire argument and summarising it weakens it.
Practice areas are divided into state and federal columns, which is how a defendant actually understands their own situation, and a plain-language article section answers the questions people are too frightened to ask.

03 / The outcome

A full prosecutorial biography, state and federal practice areas split, client feedback, plain-language federal case articles and a confidential consultation request.
