Online therapy, and an honest comparison with the alternative.

A Toronto virtual therapy practice, designed to lower the barrier between reading the page and booking the first session.

01 / The brief

The hardest step in therapy is the first appointment.

Umbrella Therapy is a Toronto practice offering affordable virtual therapy, led by a licensed therapist working entirely online.

Every element between a visitor’s arrival and a booked consultation is a place where someone decides not to. The site had to remove as many of those as possible without feeling clinical.

02 / Our approach

A warm page, a named therapist, and booking never far away.

The therapist appears early and by name, because people choose a person rather than a practice, and the credentials sit with the introduction instead of on a separate page.

A direct comparison with in-person therapy addresses the real hesitation (is online as good) and the intake form and booking sit at the end of every section rather than only in the header.

Phase 01

Objection map

The reasons people stall before booking, and where to answer each.

Phase 02

Design

Calm palette with the therapist present throughout.

Phase 03

Build

Online booking, intake form and FAQ.

Phase 04

SEO and launch

On-page SEO and responsive pass.

03 / The outcome

A practice you can book without speaking to anyone first.

Online booking, an intake form, an FAQ covering rates and scheduling, and a comparison section that answers the question most visitors arrive with.
