01 / The brief
Every system is custom, which makes a catalogue hard to write.
Automation Dynamics manufactures sorting, counting and weighing equipment and pneumatic and rail transport systems for industrial plants, all built to the individual plant’s specification.
Nothing is off the shelf, so a conventional product grid would have promised something the company does not sell. The site had to show capability and range without implying a fixed SKU.
02 / Our approach
Entry by industry, because that is how a plant engineer thinks.
The catalogue opens with a choice of industry (food and beverage, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, retail medical) and shows the equipment already installed in plants like the reader’s own.
A downloadable catalogue and a direct contact route sit at the end of every path, because a custom system is quoted in a conversation rather than added to a basket.
Phase 01
Taxonomy
Products mapped to the industries that buy them.
Phase 02
Design
Industrial visual language using the company’s own installation photography.
Phase 03
Build
Catalogue, downloads and enquiry routes.
Phase 04
SEO and launch
On-page SEO across industry and product pages.
03 / The outcome
A custom manufacturer with a catalogue that still makes sense.
An industry-first product structure, a downloadable catalogue and a direct enquiry path, with the range editable as new systems are built.
